MudBrick Creative recently was contracted to build an internal training application for the PA Juvenile Justice System for probation officers. The goal of the application was to provide the organization a tool that would allow them to create and deliver course content and testing for officers who need to complete continuing education objectives.
The application needed to be done using Microsoft .NET platform and tie to back-office systems for user data. Administration could create content for a course. This info included chapter and subsection content with related media (video, audio, PDF etc) that an officer could read through and assimilate at their own pace. After reading through a section, or set of sections, the user could then take the test and be scored on their results. Based on percentage of success, scoring was pass/fail. All incorrect responses were provided back to the user along with related section information for review and retake. Users can have multiple tests in progress and access to all current curriculum for review. All test progress and scores are stored.
MudBrick is glad to be a part of such projects. Working with Juvenile Justice gave us an opportunity to help streamline a key processes for the organization serving a higher purpose.
