MudBrick Knows vehicle wraps!

by admin on Jun.12, 2008, under Finished Projects

MudBrick tackled the Omex van wraps with a vengeance and delivered a kick ass van wrap for the company vehicles and a brand asset for their franchisees.  Be sure to check out the pics below and let us know what you think.  We are doing a photo shoot of all the vans when their done and we’ll put up more pics.

These bad boys were printed and skinned by our new best buddies over at Kevin Quirk Custom signs.  Absolutely killed this project for us and delivered it when we needed it. Thanks buys.

MudBrick Decides to MySpace It

by admin on Oct.02, 2007, under Finished Projects

MySpace Website ThumbnailWell upon heavy consideration MudBrick has decided to join the rest of humanity apparently and create a MySpace profile. Having done a little market research we’ve found that many businesses as well as individuals use this social networking tool to get their names out there. It’s also a popular tool if you don’t have a website at all and just want to put some information about your business or yourself online in a somewhat cretive manner. MudBricks presense is understated for the time being but we plan on including alot of our more interesting projects on MySpace as well as ideas, rants etc. It will be a place were we can have some fun and hopefully make some new friends. So check out our site and let us know what you think…ask us to be your “Friend”!

Harrisburg Mall Card Show Posters

by admin on Aug.21, 2007, under Finished Projects

Harrisburg Mall Card Show PosterMudBrick delivered a quick turn around piece for Harrisburg Mall this week. They have two poster designs they wanted to get done within a 2 day stretch of time, one for their weekend sports card show, and one for a store relocation. Harrisburg Mall chose MudBrick for it’s rumored speedy concepting and high quality deliverables. With little more than a day to work MudBrick developed this piece so far and is working on the store poster as we speak. These will be 22×28″ posters to be setup throughout the mall as marketing elements to get customers in the door for the show.

“We wanted to give these posters a little bit of an old-school baseball feel but with some colorful design elements. The need for quick turn around eliminated some of our ability to get real creative with it, but we delivered them a piece they were still very happy with.”

MudBrick 3d Models for SwatchBox

by admin on Aug.01, 2007, under Finished Projects

Laundry Room SampleMudBrick was picked by SwatchBox Technologies to 3d Model and render room designs for their latest Flash based technology, room design engine. Swatchbox needed realistically modeled and lit laundry rooms and garages. MudBrick created the 3d assets from scratch using source images of the look the customer needed. From these images we modeled the objects and lit the scene to match the lighting in the room. MudBrick also worked with Swatchbox to get the camera angles they wanted and provided high res renders for postwork. In the end this was the kind of project you love to do, you get to work with a great customer using a very creative medium. Not only did we get to do something we love, but we learned a good bit about 3D lighting and how to achieve high quality, realistic look and feel using Maya and Mental Ray. We are definately looking forward to doing more of this kind of work and potentially dipping our feet into the architectural rendering pool down the road.

Be sure to check out SwatchBox Technologies and their Room Design tools.
